Since beginning his career with Kuck Mechanical in 2010, Theo Kuck has gained well-rounded experience across nearly every facet of the commercial HVAC and sheet metal industry. His passion for the trade began long before his professional career, spending summers growing up at Kuck Mechanical’s fabrication shop and learning the value of craftsmanship, hard work, and dedication from an early age.
Theo's experience encompasses shop fabrication, layout, field measurement, installation, project management, field supervision, and overall company operations. As he progressed into project management and leadership roles, his responsibilities expanded beyond construction operations to include business development and many of the administrative and financial functions necessary to support the company. This included developing and maintaining relationships with banking and bonding partners, assisting with financial and operational matters, strengthening relationships with general contractors and industry partners, and supporting the day-to-day business needs of Kuck Mechanical. This experience, combined with having worked at nearly every level of the company, has given Theo a unique understanding of both the field and business sides of the construction industry.
Following the passing of his father, Ted Kuck, in April 2025, Theo stepped into the role of President and, alongside Wyatt and Colton, continues the next generation of Kuck family leadership. He remains committed to carrying forward the values and reputation established by the generations before him while continuing to strengthen and grow Kuck Mechanical for the future.
Theo's combination of formal training, field experience, operational knowledge, business development experience, and leadership provides him with a comprehensive understanding of the industry and a continued commitment to delivering projects safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
Bob F. Kuck
Vice President/Owner
In August 1999, Bob Kuck co-founded Kuck Mechanical Contractors, LLC. His strong work ethic, professionalism, commitment to quality craftsmanship, and ability to build lasting relationships with clients and industry partners have been significant contributors to the growth and success of the company.
With more than 35 years of experience in the construction industry, Bob has developed vast knowledge across all phases of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and sheet metal construction. He began his career as a stock boy before completing a five-year sheet metal apprenticeship program in Addison, Illinois. Today, Bob serves as Vice President and Co-Owner of Kuck Mechanical Contractors.
Throughout his career, Bob has successfully overseen a diverse range of commercial and institutional projects, including educational facilities for Poudre School District, Thompson School District, Colorado State University, and Aurora Public Schools, as well as multi-use developments, public infrastructure, and wastewater treatment facilities.
One of Bob’s greatest areas of expertise is industrial construction and working within active manufacturing and food-processing facilities. His experience includes projects for JBS, Leprino Foods, and Noosa Yoghurt, where construction requires careful coordination with ongoing plant operations, production schedules, safety requirements, sanitation standards, and facility personnel. His familiarity with the unique demands of industrial environments allows Kuck Mechanical to effectively execute complex mechanical work while minimizing disruption to active operations.
Bob’s combination of hands-on trade experience, industrial expertise, and decades of leadership continues to play an important role in Kuck Mechanical’s ability to successfully deliver projects and maintain long-standing relationships with its clients and partners.
In Memory Of Ted A. Kuck
Founder, Kuck Mechanical Contractors, LLC
Ted Kuck dedicated his career to the sheet metal and mechanical construction industry, gaining experience in nearly every facet of the trade, including field installation, journeyman work, shop fabrication, estimating, field labor management, business management, and ownership.
Ted began his career in the sheet metal industry at the age of 18, working as an installer before gaining additional experience in estimating and management while working for a mechanical contractor in Topeka, Kansas. He later returned home to Fort Collins with the goal of building a business alongside his family. In August 1998, that vision became a reality when Ted, alongside his wife Cindy, his father, and his brother, established Kuck Mechanical Contractors.
Under Ted’s leadership, Kuck Mechanical grew into a well-established commercial mechanical contractor employing approximately 180 people and completing projects throughout Colorado. The company’s growth was built on strong industry relationships, a reputation for quality craftsmanship, a commitment to safety, and Ted’s belief in taking care of both the projects and the people behind them.
Ted was also committed to developing the next generation of skilled tradespeople. In 2010, Kuck Mechanical established its apprenticeship program, creating opportunities for employees to learn the trade, develop their skills, and build lasting careers within the industry.
Ted’s influence extends far beyond the company he founded. His entrepreneurial spirit, knowledge of the trade, relationships within the construction community, and dedication to Kuck Mechanical helped establish the foundation upon which the company continues to grow today. His legacy remains an enduring part of Kuck Mechanical Contractors and the people who continue the work he began.
